In the Beginning.
Chuck Jones, a local business entrepreneur and all around great guy started the Lamp Factory Outlet with his wife Lynn in 1974. During the early 1970's, Chuck had developed his love for lighting and desire to create outstanding customer relationships while working at a national lighting franchise in Maryland. After observing first hand the service and selection shortcomings a national chain provided, he took his passion for lighting and opened the first Lamp Factory Outlet at the Fair City Mall in Fairfax VA. The business model was simple ~ offer great selection of merchandise reflecting the current styles and trends, keep the prices lows by minimizing overhead expenses, and treat every customer with kindness and respect. Chuck and Lynn perfected this obviously simple approach to business and word spread quickly. Customer acceptance and demand was overwhelming and crated the need and opportunity to open a second location - Springfield Plaza. While the stores have changed over the years, the Fairfax store having relocated to the Fair Oaks Shopping center and the Springfield store enjoying three expansions, the business is still family run by the Jones family and the philosophies remain the same.

Full refunds for returns will be issued for lighting if it is currently returned in its original box and is in original condition. Keep in mind, returns on shipped orders will incur return shipping costs, and original shipping charges are not refundable. Refunds will be issued in the same manner as payment was received.
